Minnesota Bend Vineyards is still in the early stages of development as a family owned farm winery located in the beautiful Coosa River Region of Northeast Alabama. The vineyard name is derived from the large bend in the river located directly in front of the property. The ultimate goal of this boutique farm winery is to have total control of our wines from the vineyard to the bottle and to the consumer. The bulk of the wine production will be from grapes grown on site with additional fruit wines made from fruit sourced locally to include strawberry and blueberry selections.
The grapes will be hand picked, fermented in small lots and barrel aged. A gracious winery tasting room and wine production facility are in the process of being constructed. An adjacent residential development known as the Vineyard Village is also in the plans which will offer its residents a beautiful sunset river view and will include a community boat launch area for river access.
